SKID is a non-profit organization that was formed in 2009 by parents of the Piazza intensive/pre intensive dancers to financially assist the dancers who are training for regional and national dance competitions. The monies received by SKID help offset expenses associated with competition, such as, tuition, costumes, competition entry fees, workshops and traveling expenses. SKID has held several fundraising events so far and has even more planned for next year. Some of the fundraising events include the following:
- Water Sales
- Snack Machine
- Girl Scout Dance Try Its
- Bake Sales/ Dance Wear Sale
- GL SCRIPT Program
- SKID Café
- Performance Sales which includes flowers and cookies
