Kendall Muzzarelli
Kendall Marie Muzzarelli began her dance career at the age of 10 under Carmen Wade, former Harlem Ballet dancer and student to Iacob Lascu. In her younger days she explored her dance creativity through jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, hip-hop, musical theatre, only to discover that her true passion was for classical ballet.
Kendall focused on her classical ballet, pointe, and pas de deux training which allowed her the unique opportunity to take lessons from; Iacob Lascu, Christina Kammuller, Ethan Stiefel, Gillian Murphy, as well as various other distinguished instructors. Performing a range of title roles including; Clara, Snow Queen, Lisette, Sugar Plum Fairy, and other orignal pieces.
To further her dance education she auditioned for various summer dance intensives and year-round programs, being accepted to; San Francisco Ballet with scholarship, American Ballet Theatre, Nutmeg with scholarship, Royal Winnipeg Ballet with scholarship, Joffrey Ballet with scholarship, among others.
Her teaching career began at an early age, 16. To further her teaching abilities she has and continues to attend many teaching seminars and workshops over her 8 year teaching career. In those 8 years she has choregraphed pieces for competition, local performances, and end of the year exhibitions.
For her students Kendall states, "I have a passion for ballet, and I want to instill that same passion in my students. I look forward to providing a unique learning environment for the students. As well as helping them find their own artsitic voice."
She continues her personal education as a full-time student at the University of Michigan, studying Molecular Biology and Human Biology. She graduates this year and has plans of attending medical school. She will soon be celebrating her one year anniversary to her loving husband Kendall, and enjoys residing in Rochester with their dog Eugene and kitten Navee.
